| Relation | Relation between two sets is a collection of ordered pairs containing one object from each set. |
| Scatter Plot | Graph of plotted points that show the relationship between two sets of data. |
| Shrink | Plane figure is distorted vertically. |
| Slope | slope of a line is a # that describes both the direction and the steepness of the line. |
| Slope-Intercept Form | Y=Mx+B |
| Standard Form | Ax+By=C |

| Transformation | Original shape of the object is called the pre-image and the final shape and position of the object is the image. |
| Trend Line | Line showing the general direction that a group of points seem to be heading. |
| Vertex | Where 2 points meet. |
| Vertical-Line Test | Visual way to determine if a curve is a graph of a function or not. |
| X-Intercept | Crosses the x-axis |
| Y-Intercept | Crosses the y-axis |
