Math vocab list 6

TermDefinition
Points a dot that shows an exact place in space.
Lines a straight path in both directions with no end points.
Line segments Part of a line with endpoints.
Right angle angle that's 90 degrees
Acute angle angle that's less than 90 degrees
Obtuse angle angle that's over 90 degrees, less than 180 degrees
Perpendicular lines Lines that intersect at 90 degree angles.
Parallel lines lines that will never intersect
Right triangle a triangle with 1 right angle
Line of symmetry one side is exact the same as the other
