TermDefinition
addend Any numbers being added together.
compatible numbers Numbers that work easily together.
difference the answer to a subtraction problem.
estimate A number close to an exact value.
expanded form A number for that shows the value of each digit.
round To change the value of a number so that it is easier to work with.
sum answer to an addition problem.
decimal A number with one or more digits to the right of a decimal point.
equivalent decimals decimals that equal the same number.
inequlaity two number that are not equal.
place value the value given to a digit by its position in a number.
value A number amount or the worth of an object.
factor A number the divides into a whole number evenly.
product The answer to a multiplication problem.
