| Prepositional Phrase | A group of words that begin with a proposition and ends with a noun or pronoun. |
| Object of the Proposition | The noun or pronoun that follows the proposition. |
| Adjective Prepositional Phrase | A Prepositional phrase that describes a noun. |
| Adverb Prepositional Phrase | A prepositional phrase that describes a verb. |
| State-of-being verb | A verb that tells that the subject exists, but does not show action. |
| Common Noun | The name of a general type of person, place, or thing. |
| Proper noun | The name of a specific person, place, or thing. |
