TermDefinition
Noun a word that is a person, place or thing
Verb a word that shows action or a state of being
Pronoun a word that replaces a noun
Adjective a word that describes a noun or pronoun
Adverb a word that describes a verb (sometimes an adverb or adjective)
Preposition a word that shows how a noun is related to another sentence
Conjunction a word that connects other words or groups of words
Interjection a word that expresses strong emotion or surprise
