Vocabulary review for the 6th grade Integers Unit

integers a set of positive and negative whole numbers
opposites numbers that are on opposite sides of zero
absolute value a numbers distance from zero
negative number a number to the left of zero. A number less than zero.
positive number a number to the right of zero. A number more than zero.
