What is the first step of the scientific method? Observing • Use your five senses:Sight,smell,taste,hearing,feeling. • Has to be a FACT
What is the second step? Inferring • Explain your observation using your own experiences or knowledge
What is the third step? Predicting • Educated guess about what will happen next.
What is the fourth step? Classifying • Grouping items that are alike
What is the fifth step Making Models • Models show you what you can’t observe • Ex. Pictures and diagrams
What is the final step? Communicating Sharing ideas and information about your findings
