Base In a percent porportion the whole quantity or the # to witch the part is being compared to.
percent a ratio that compares a number to 100.
ratio a comparison of 2 # by divison
rate a ratio that compares 2 quanities with different kind of units
proportion an equation that shows that 2 ratios are equivalent.
mean the sum of the data divided by the # of items in the data.
unit rate a rate with the denometer of 1.
cross product the product of the numeator of one ratio and the denominator of the other ratio.
equivalent fractions that have the same value.
