| Adversity (n.) | A difficult situation or condition; challenge or hardship |
| Autobiographical (adj.) | Describes writing that is written about the life of the author. |
| Reservation (n.) | An area of land in the United States that is kept separate as a place for Native Americans to live and govern |
| Metaphor (n.) | A type of figurative language that is a comparison between two or more unlike things, without using the words "like" or "as" |
| Susceptible (adj.) | Easily affected, influenced or harmed by something |
| Impediments (n.) | A condition that makes it difficult to speak normally |
| Smirked (v.) | To smile in an unpleasant way because you are pleased with yourself, glad about someone else's trouble |
| Hypothermia (n.) | A condition in which the temperature of your body is very low |
| Vandalism (n.) | The act of deliberately damaging or destroying property |
| Inseparable (adj.) | Not able to be separated |
| Minions (n.) | Someone who is not powerful or important but obeys the orders of a powerful person or boss |
