These flash cards are made to study for Weaver's Unite 1-A quiz.

TermDefinition
Chemical Property a property that its end result after its test is irreversible and is usually harder to observe than physical properties
Conduct to allow for heat, electricity, sound, etc. to go through the material
Density the mass over the volume which means it’s the amount of matter per space of the object
Hazardous Material a material that is harmful in some way
Mass amount of matter a material is made of
Opaque means that it is not see through
Physical Property a property that once observed does not do anything to the chemical composition of the material. essential in defining the matter itself and have to do with the matter itself. some can change, some are fixed
Quantitative Data "N means number"; quantitative data is numerical data given in the form of numbers
Reacts/ Reaction A reaction or chemical reaction is a chemical change which forms a new substances.
Toxic/ Toxicity the degree in which a material can damage when ingested or absorbed by a living organism
Translucent translucent is the medium between opaque and transparent
Transparent transparent is the exact opposite of absolutely opaque
Volume the amount of space an object takes up
