| sarcastic | mocking, characterized by words that mean the opposite of what they seem to say |

| varmint | a person or animal regarded as troublesome, unpleasant, or despicable |
| whorls | something in the shape of a spiral, coil, or curl |
| wince | to have an expression on your face for a very short time that shows you are embarrassed or in pain |
