real numbers

TermDefinition
Rational numbers A rational number is a number that can either be written as a fraction or ratio
Irrational numbers A real number that can not be expressed as a ratio or fraction and it is a repeating decimal
whole numbers A number without fractions an integer
Counting numbers Numbers that we use to learn how to count (ex. 1,2,3,4,etc.)
Integers Whole number a number that is not a fraction
Real numbers Include all Rational numbers such as the integer -5 or pi
