What considerations are used when filling in the terrain portion of an OPORD? OAKOC
What is OAKOC? Observations and Fields of Fire, Avenues of Approach, Key and Decisive Terrain, Obstacles, Cover and Concealment
Give examples of why weather is important in an OPORD/for planning purposes? equipment needed to cross wet vs dry terrain, morale, gear type, BMNT, EENT
Why is it important to understand an enemy's most probable/most deadly course of action? to understand levels of risk on a mission
When flipping an OPORD, why is it important to understand higher mission two levels up? So you understand the big picture.
If you are a PL, how many levels higher up will you be including in your OPORD? Your Company Commanders, and his one level higher.
What should be included for a Mission statement in the OPORD? Doing this TASK for this PURPOSE.
Should the Commander's intent in a Company OPORD be the same in your Platoon OPORD? Yes, you have to understand why Commander wants what he wants done, so you can understand your task

What are two reasons for the End State, and what paragraph is it found in? Gives an idea of what the mission should look like when it's over, helps the Commander know that the mission is complete and your element is ready for follow on missions, Execution paragraph.

What does Scheme of Movement and Maneuver supplement? SMM are the DETAILS of the CONCEPT OF OPERATIONS, it breaks them down
What is done during a briefing of Scheme of Movement and Maneuver? Terrain Models are used "orient yourselves to my terrain model"
What is one important item included in the Coordinating Instructions? Timeline
Where do you usually find PIR (who do you get it from)? Intelligence
Where are the Rules of Engagement found? Execution Paragraph
Why are the ROE important? sets parameters of when and in what manner you can engage the enemy

What is Class 5 under the sustainment paragraph stand for? Ammunition

Where are attachments and detachments found? Situation
How can the attachments/detachments be an asset to you as a PL? This is where you can ask for extra equipment, personnel, firepower, etc.
