DIstinguish between atoms and molecules

TermDefinition
Atom A smaller unit of an element which maintains properties of any element
Element A substance that can't be separated or broken down into simpler substances by chemical means
Nucleus An atom's central region which makes up many proteins & neutrons.
Proton A subatomic particle that has a positive charge that is found in the nucleus of the atom
Neutron A subatomic particle that has no charge and that's found in the nucleus of an atom
Electron A subatomic particle
Atomic Number The number of protons in the nucleus,The atomic number is the same for all atoms of any element
Neutral Having no charge
Atomic Mass The mass of an atom expressed in atomic mass units
Chemical Symbol A one-or-two-letter code representing an element
