TermDefinition
Real Numbers The set of all numbers that can be represented on a number line.
Absolute Value The distance of a number to zero on a number line. It is written |x|.
Opposite A number having the alternate sign from the given number.
Additive Inverse The opposite of a number. They are the same distance from zero on the number line.
