A plateau is an elevated tract of more or less level land
This regions lies along the Ohio River Ohio River Valley
This region is west of the highlands and contains the New River Gorge Allegheny Plateau Region
A tourist is someone who travels away from home to another place and who does not plan to stay permanently in the new location
Some of the outdoor adventures for tourist in WV include skiing, caving, rock climbing, white-water rafting, cycling, snowboarding, golfing, boating, camping, and walking
The Eastern Panhandle has a rich history, Harpers Ferry, located in Jefferson County it is where the first European explorer first entered WV
Charles Town, another town in Jefferson County Is the location of the courthouse where who was sentenced to death John Brown
