Taking Tests

How to take Tests without anxiety

QuestionAnswer
Why are high test grades important? High test grades contribute to your overall GPA. If a student maintains a high GPA throughout college, they will have a better chance at finding a job when competing with other applicants during job interviews.

If you fail a test that you believe you were fully prepared for, does that mean that you are a failure? NO! All that means is that you have some areas to improve on. If you take an extensive look into the reasons why you failed the test, you can focus on those reasons and succeed on the next one!
How can you use previous tests to improve your next test score? You can look at your results, find the areas that you struggled with, and focus on them. College is not set up for you to fail! It is meant for you to improve. Even if you score a "90", you should seek out ways to improve that high of a score.
What is the goal for each test? TO SCORE THE MAXIMUM amount of points possible.
