TermDefinition
Electrostatic Series A series used to determine which object will be negatively charged and which object will be positively charged
Voltage The amount of energy per charge of electrons
Induction When a charged object is brought near the neutral object, the negative charges move to one side of the object
Grounding Wire It is used to neutralize an object by transferring electrons to and from the ground
Load Devices in a circuit that uses electrical energy to do work
Joules The unit to measure energy
Switch This breaks the circuit and stops the electron flow
Ammeter This device measure current
Resistance A property of a material that hinders the motion of electrons
Amperes (A) The unit for current
