Constant Rate of Change also known as slope; change in y over change in x
Proportional Relationship exists when there is a constant ratio between two quantities
Constant of Proportionality the constant ratio to which a proportional relationship simplifies
Direct Variation exists when there is a constant ratio between two quantities
Constant of Variation the constant ratio to which a direct variation simplifies
Unit Rate A rate in which the second quantity is 1. In a proportional relationship, the unit rate is the same as the constant of proportionality
