| Veracruz | landing site of Hernan Cortes in 1519, but now is a tourist town that is known for drugs and violence. Also has a large port for the oil industry. |
| Villahermosa | Popular stopping point that relies on oil production to keep its economy going. History is tied to the Olmec people and there is an archaeological site where artifacts are. |
| Durango | A lot of western movies were filmed here because of its western look. Near here are iron deposits that brought Spanish Explorers to the area thinking it was silver, and now it's a major industry. |
| D.F. | A very important state that is known for earthquakes and the city is sinking. The area is very wealthy and is home to Tenochtitlan which is a historically famous city. |
| Sinaloa | Main economic activity is agriculture. The city of Mazatlan is located here is influenced by Spanish and Bavarian culture. The music is similar to German Music. |
| Oaxaca | Known for its main square in the middle called the Zocalo where a cathedral is built. Famous for its food and is known as the food capital of Mexico. |
| Merida | Capital of Yucatan and is one of the oldest inhabited cities in the Americas. There are huge murals depicting the bloody destruction of the Mayan Empire, but is a very safe place |
| Puebla | Has the most famous Mole Poblano. Has a legend that a woman from Asia came and introduced colorful silk dresses that women still wear on special occasions and are associated with the traditional Mexican Dress of the mid-19th century. |
