Enharmonic Tone two notes that are the ams pitch/piano key but "spelled" differently
Musical Scale a progression of notes in a specific order
Key Signature located at the beginning of the staff to provide the sharps or flats needed to play a piece in a particular key with a specific tonic
Tonic the first degree or note of the scale
Chord 3 or mores tomes sounded simultaneously

Rules for Scales 1. must start and end on exactly the same note 2. must go in alphabetical order 3. never mix shares and flats in the same scales
