Math Review

QuestionAnswer
Mean the average of a data set... Step 1: add all numbers of the data set up Step 2: divide by how many numbers there are in the data set
Median the middle of a data set... In the real world: a strip of land in between two opposing lanes of traffic
Mode the most frequent number in a data set... "mode is most"
Interquartile Range Quartile 3 minus Quartile 1 = Interquartile Range (IQR)
Range the largest number in a data set minus the smallest number in a data set
