Vocabulary Terms Review for Unit 5: Credit

Billing Statement Tells how much you owe for goods and services.
Account Record of financial transactions
Utility bill Bill for services such as electricity, water, garbage, collection.
Housing Bills Rent or Mortgage payment
Company Provider of goods or services
Customer The person who receives goods or uses services provided
Account Number Unique combination of numbers and/or letters that identifies a specific customer.
Billing Period The period for which the current charges are calculated
Remittance Information The address to which you should send the payment, or other way to pay your bill.
Currency Cash or other transactions that treated just like cash
Three forms of currency Paper money (bills) and coins; checks; and debit card
Overdraft fees Charges that occur when a person withdraws money from an account in which there is not that much money in the account.
PIN Personal Identification Number used to access an ATM or to access secured online environments.
ATM Automated Teller Machine
Credit Score An overall grade of a person's credit worthiness
