chronic (adj.) lasting a long time; always present (usually associate with an illness or habit)
chronicle (n) historical account of events in time order; a narrative
chronological (adj.) in order of time
chronology (n) a list of evens in order of time
contemporary (adj.) living or occurring at the same time; belonging to or occurring in the present
synchronize (v) to make things work at the sam time or rate as something else
tempest (n) a violent windy storm lasting for a limited amount of time
tempo (n) the speed at which a passage o music is or should be played; the timing of the music
temporary (adj.) lasting of only a limited period of time
