Active Voice When the subject of the sentence is the doer of the action in the sentence

Bias The subtle presence of a positive or negative approch to a topic

Classification A stradegy a writer uses to group ideas that are similiar or realeted

Dangling modifier A modifier that is clear attached to the word or phrase it suppose to modify

Key event An important occurance within a text
Demonstrate To make evident or improve
Distinction A differance of discrimination made between two or more indivivuals ideas or events
Distinguish To mark off as different; to reconize the promient features of
Intergrate To combine information to produce a larger unit or whole
Indicative mood The form of a verb takes in sentences that make a statement or question
Ellipsis An omission of a word quoted passage that is indiacated by three periods
Firsthand accond Coming from being a direct personal observation or experiance
Literal text Imaginitive or creative text that is generally a narritive story
Literal meaning Involving an interpretation of a text or word at its most basic non figurative meaning
