GEOMETRY- Triangles
Special Segments in Triangles Vocabulary

Perpendicular Bisector | A line that is perpendicular to a segment at its midpoint. |
Angle Bisector | A line that divides an angle into two congruent angles. |
Median | A segment whose endpoints are a vertex of a triangle and the midpoint of the opposite side. |
Altitude | A perpendicular segment from a vertex to the opposite side (or to the line that contains the opposite side). |
