Dis- Meaning: not Examples: disappear, disliked, disability, disagree Context Clue: " I disagree with your idea, so no I won't do it."
Mis- Meaning: bad Examples: misjudge, misuse, misbehaved, misunderstood Context Clue: She misunderstood me because she couldn't make out what I was saying.
Pre- Meaning: before Examples: prepackaged, preview, precook, precut Context Clue: I watched the preview of the movie before it came out finished.
Re- Meaning: again, back Examples: redone, redo, retake, rethink Context Clue: I got a F on my quiz so my teacher made me retake it, and I got a A when I tried again!
Un- Meaning: not Examples: unused, untold, unfinished, unfamiliar Context Clue: My dad brought in a unfamiliar man that wouldn't tell who he is.
anni Meaning: year Examples: anniversary, annihilate, scanning, tanning Context Clue: The robot was scanning everyone, so I let him check me.
bibl Meaning: book Examples: bibliography, bible, bibliology, biblicist Context Clue: The game," Batman: Bibliology " didn't explain much about his origin.
cycl Meaning: wheel Examples: bicycle, motorcycle, tricycle, cycle Context Clue: The bicycle I ordered was in pieces, we had to build the bike without a manual.
dict Meaning: say Examples: diction, addict, dictator, dictionary Context Clue: The dictionary had so many words, good thing they each have their own definition written.
equi Meaning: equal Examples: equity, equipped, equivalent, equitable Context Clue: The boy equipped his armor, as he wore it he spammed the A button to slash at the dragon.
graph Meaning: write Examples: autograph, graphics, digraph, biographic Context Clue: The celebrity wrote his name on a picture of him, and gave me back the autograph.
multi Meaning: much, many Examples: multiply Context Clue:
