concern v. To be about; to interest. To trouble or worry.
consider v. To think about carefully. To take into account. To believe.
contrast v. To compare in order to show the differences. To show differences when compared.
fragile adj. Easily broken or damaged.
menace n. Something that is likely to do harm or is regarded as dangerous.
pounce v. To swoop down on and seize.
prompt adj. Quick; without too much time passing. v. To cause to act.
recent adj. Of a time just before the present.
symbol n. Something that stands for something else.
talon n The claw of a bird, usually one that kills animals for food.
trophy n. Something, such as a prize or award, given to show success in an activity.
widespread adj. Spread or stretched out over a large area. Happening or found over a large area.
