Poseidon God of the Sea. Brother of Zeus; he is an enemy of Odysseus; father of Polyphemus and an ancestor of the Phaeacians.
Antinous One of the two lead suitors; one that waited to draw the bow.

Calypso minor goddess- keeps Odysseus on her island (Ogygia) for 9 years.
Circe goddess of Aeaea who changes men into swine.
*Troy* Where Odysseus and his men were coming from after the Trojan War.
*Aeaea* island of Circe, inhabited with men that were turned into animals
*Ogygia* island of Calypso; Odysseus is there for 9 years.
*Phaeacia* kingdom where Odysseus lands after Calypso's island, they give him a boat and lots of treasure so he can go back to Ithaca
*Ithaca* Homeland of Odysseus where he is king.
Nausicaa Daughter of Alcinous; princess of Phaeacia.
Muse Daughter of Zeus; what Homer calls to start the story.
