Adjacent Angles Things that are right next to it.
Vertical Angles 2 intersecting lines, are opposite, sides don't touch, same vertex
Congruent Angles Same measure
Perpendicular Lines 2 lines intersect for right angle (90 degrees)
Supplementary 2 angles measures add up to 180 degrees
Complementary 2 angles measures' sums add up to 90 degrees
Transversal Line intersects 2 other lines at different points
Corresponding Angles Are on same side of transversal and corresponding points
Alternate Interior Angles Are within a pair of lines, on opposite sides of transversal
Congruent Polygons Polygons same size, same shape
Similar Figures Same shape, not same size
Similar Polygons Corresponding angles = congruent and length of corresponding sides are in proportion
Interior Angles 2 consecutive sides
Exterior angles Formed by a side and extension of adjacent side
