Geometry

QuestionAnswer
Parallelogram A shape whose opposite sides are parallel. Example: Square
Quadrilateral A four-sided shape. Example: Square
Polygon A shape with at least three straight sides and angles. Example: Triangle
Rhombus A 4 sided shape with straight edges. Example: Rhombus
Base The top or bottom of a figure. Example: Square
Height The sides of a figure. Example: Rectangle
Formula A mathematical sentence to find the answer to something. Example: A=B*H
Congruent The same shape and size. Example: Square and another Square
Composite Figure Has 2 or more geometric shapes. Example: Rhombus
Decompose Breaking down something to make it easier or simpler. Example: Rhombus=2 Triangles
