QuestionAnswer
pronoun A word that takes the place of a noun.
refer To go back to, reference, use to help guide you; to have recourse or resort; turn, as for aid or information.
role play Assuming the role of a character met in a text or in an imagined situations; develops problem-solving skills and imagination.
root word The base or main word.
sequential order Chronological, or time, order of events in a reading passage.
suffix A syllable or word added to the end of a root word to change the meaning.
support To provide evidence for.
synthesizing Putting all the different parts together to create a whole new thing.
verb A word that shows an action (bring, read, walk, run, learn), an occurrence (happen, become), or a state of being (be, exist, stand).
visualize To form a mental image of.
