QuestionAnswer
contrast To examine two or more items by looking at only their differences.
dialect The way a language is spoken in a particular region or place. Not to be be confused with accent- how words are sounded.
expository Explains information about an event, process, issue or topic such as a magazine article about refining oil.
hypertext Digital text which contains links to other texts.
monologue A long speech in a play or film spoken by one actor, especially when he or she is alone.
passage A portion or section of a written work; a paragraph, verse, etc.
research process Includes planning/pre-research questions or outline, gathering information, interacting with information, organizing information or outlining, creating new information, sharing and presenting information, evaluation and assessment.
storyboard The sequence of images used to plan a film, video, television program, drama, story or presentation.
target audience The intended group for which something is performed or marketed; the specific group to which advertising is directed.
tragedy A dramatic composition, dealing with a serious theme, typically that of a great person of affluence destined, through a flaw of character or conflict with some overpowering force, as fate or society, to downfall or destruction.
