Albert Einstein

Living Museum for Albert Einstein

1.Hello, my name is Albert Einstein. I am a famous German scientist known for developing many physics theories and equations that are used today. I also taught at many renowned universities and won a Nobel Prize in physics.
2. I was born on March 14, 1879 in Ulm, Germany. My grandmom said I was way to fat. My mom thought my head was way too large. At age 86, I died of internal bleeding due to a rupture of blood vessel in Princeton, New Jersey, on April 18, 1955.
3. I lived and grew up in Munich where I began schooling at Luitpold Gymnasium. In 1894, I followed my dad to move to Italy to start a new business. Then in 1895, I moved to Aarau, Switzerland, where I completed my high school education.
4. My dad, Herman Einstein, is a salesman and engineer, and my mom, Pauline Koch is daughter of a wealthy grain merchant. I had a younger sister, Maja, who is my closest friend.
5. When I was 5, my dad gave me a compass. I was mystified that invisible forces could control a compass. I learned that Earth’s magnetic field moves the compass needle. When I was 12, I was amazed by a geometry book that I cherished.
