| Term | Definition |

| Pre-production | the process of preparing all the elements of a video production, including planning, storyboarding, script writing, scheduling, props, camera angles and locations |
| Production | he process of recording video |
| Post-production | all phases of production following recording of video, i,e capturing, editing, titling, exporting, etc. |
| Script | A written document that tells what the program is about, who is in it, what is supposed to happen and how the viewer is to see and hear the event. |
| Tilt | When the camera stays fixed but swivels vertically (up and down). |
| Pan | Moving the camera back and forth (left to right). |
| B-Roll | Used as your video fillers, what fills up your video with supplemental or alternate footage in between main shots, also illustrates or shows examples. |
| Story Board | Are graphic organizers in the form of illustrating image displayed in sequence. |
| Cut- Away Shot | An interruption of a continuous film action by switching a view of something else. |
| Treatment | a summary on what your production is about. Used for a dramatic production. |
| A/V Script | a script that has two columns, video information on the left, and audio information on the right. |
| Target Audience | a specific group of people that you are appealing to your production |
