QuestionAnswer
Commutative Property For any number a and b, a+b = b+a and ab=ba.
Associative Property For any number a,b,and c, (a+b)+ c = a+(b+c) and (ab)c = a(bc).
Additive Identity When you add a number and 0, the sum equals the original number.
Multiplicative Identity For any number a, the product of a and 1 is a.
Multiplicative Property of Zero When any number is multiplied by 0, the product is 0.
Area The measure of the surface enclosed by a figure.
Perimeter The distance around a geometric figure.
Formula An equation that shows a relationship among certain quantities.
