Amendment three says Citizens have the right to not house soliders
Four amendment protects Citizens against unreasonable searches and seizures, a police officer must have a warrant given to him by a judge and probable cause is also needed.
Fifth amendment You do not have to testify against yourself ; pleading the fifth, you must have due process of law before you are convicted, government cannot take your land unless the government gives you money; eminent domain. Double jeopardy; no.
Sixth amendment Right to speedy trail by a jury, jurors are selected for their lack of bias, must be told of charges, lawyer must be provided if you can't afford one; right to legal counsel.
Seventh amendment You have the right to sue someone in court and have a trail by jury when the value in the argument is more than $20.
Eight amendment No excessive bail and no cruel or unusal punishment
Ninth amendment Deals with unenumerated rights and the fact that the first 8 amendments to the constitution are not the only rights that people have.
Tenth amendment Powers not in the constitution or forbidden are given to the states or the people.
Brendan is accused of armed robbery and given a trail. The jury finds Brendan innocent. The next day the prosecutor decides that the verdict was not correct, and he orders Brendan arrested and tried for the crime again. Right violated: Double Jepordy Amendment that protects the right: 5th amendment
