net something that is created through connections, in geometry, a connection of polygons through edges
volume the amount of space that an object occupies; length x width x height; a book that is part of a series (volume I)
area region or part of a town, country, or the world; the measurement of a flat surface or piece of land
gravity the force that pulls objects toward the center of a planet like Earth
mass the number of atoms in an object; something with no shape; assembly of a crowd
orbit the curved path of something out in space; the area one is a part of (like the Hollywood orbit for actors, the school orbit for students)
economy the buying and selling of goods in an area; management of resources
revolution turning over a government, rotating around something (Earth makes one revolution around the sun every year)
overpower to be stronger than something else ["over" - more than or too much]
patiently to do something that requires waiting or thinking of others ["ly" - turns into adverb]
performance to do something in front of others
prehistoric before written history ["pre" - before]
prettier better looking than something else ["er" - more]
promotion to get a better position or better job ["pro" - for or in favor of]
rearrange to arrange something differently than before ["re" - back or again]
replacement to get something to take the place of something else ["re" - back or again]
richest the most rich ["est" - the most]
semifinal the event before the final one ["semi" - half or partly]
