continuous to keep going; not stop
congruent having the same size and shape (math); matching or in agreement with something
rational a number that you can express as a fraction (math); to be reasonable
sonar device used to find things underwater using sound waves
abstain to choose not to do something
reprieve to delay something terrible like a punishment, closing of something, destruction of something
