Greek, Latin tempor/chron Vocabulary

temporary lasting little time
tempo the pace or timing of music, fast or slow
chronological in the order of time
chronic unending or continual, lasting a long time
chronicle A text which placed events in order of time.
contemporary modern, or happening at the same time
tempest A violent storm that appears quickly but lasts for a brief time.
chronometer A device like a stopwatch or timer that measures time.
chronology Telling the order in which events happened.
synchronize To do several things at the same time.
temporal related to time; a short time; related to the world and not the spiritual.
