Chemical Reactions

TermDefinition
Physical Change Any change that alters the form or appearance but does not change into another substance
Chemical Change The atom rearrange to form new substances
Reacrants Substances that undergo the chemical changes
Products New substances that are formed
Precipitate A solid that forms liquids during a chemical change
Exothermic Reaction Energy released as the products form is greater then the energy required
Endothermic Reaction More energy is required to break the bonds of the reactants then is released
