| Resolution | a formal expression of opinion or intention made, usually after voting, by a formal organization, a legislature, a club, or other group |
| Rhyme scheme | the pattern of rhymes used in a poem, usually marked by letters to symbolize correspondences, as rhyme royal, ababbcc. |
| Exposition | a large-scale public exhibition or show, as of art or manufactured products |
| Parallel | extending in the same direction, equidistant at all points, and never converging or diverging |
| genre | a class or category of artistic endeavor having a particular form, content, technique, or the like |
| Rising action | a related series of incidents in a literary plot that build toward the point of greatest interest |
| Foreshadowing | to show or indicate beforehand; prefigure |
