Light travels in Waves
Light waves Spread out in all directions
White light is Made up of many different colours
When white light passes through a prism, it will refract into many different colours, known as its spectrum,
Each colour is A type of wave but at different frequencies or wavelengths
Light is a type of Radiation
Electromagnetic Spectrum a small part of a huge amount of invisible radiation that we can actually see
Frequency The number of times the medium vibrates in a given unit of time
Wavelength the distance from the crest of one wave to another
Amplitude The height of a wave from the rest position to the crest
