Relationships in Triangles

perpendicular bisector passes through the midpoint of the side and is perpendicular to that side
circumcenter the point where all three perpendicular bisectors meet
angle bisector divides an angle in half
incenter the point where all three angle bisectors meet
median a segment connecting a vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side
centroid the point where all three medians meet
altitude a segment from the vertex of a triangle that is perpendicular to the opposite side
orthocenter the point where all three altitudes meet
midsegment segment formed by connecting the midpoints of any two sides of a triangle
