| perpendicular bisector | passes through the midpoint of the side and is perpendicular to that side |
| circumcenter | the point where all three perpendicular bisectors meet |
| angle bisector | divides an angle in half |
| incenter | the point where all three angle bisectors meet |
| median | a segment connecting a vertex of a triangle to the midpoint of the opposite side |
| centroid | the point where all three medians meet |
| altitude | a segment from the vertex of a triangle that is perpendicular to the opposite side |
| orthocenter | the point where all three altitudes meet |
| midsegment | segment formed by connecting the midpoints of any two sides of a triangle |
