How can you tell if a website is credible?

| What is credibility? | the quality of being trusted. The quality of being convincing or believable. |
| What are sources? | a place, person, or thing from which something comes or can be obtained. |
| What factor does the credibility of the source depend on most? | Authority |
| What is authority? | If you know lot about a topic. |
| What are some ways you can see if a website is credible? | Is there an author provided? Is there a publisher provided? Does the author and/or publisher provide credentials?(Do they have a right to publish in this area?) |
| What is a publisher? | a person or company that prepares and issues books, journals, music or other works for sale. |
| What is currency? | does the source have a publication date? Was the source written recently? |
| What is accuracy and validity? | if the source provides link and/or bibliographic citation, and is in line with other sources. There can be links to more information and sources. |
| What is coverage? | covers topic thoroughly, similar information as other sources, provides statistics |
| What is wrong with comments? | comments don't come from author or publisher. should not determine website credibility,stick to what the author and publisher provide. |
