| Negative | A number less than zero |
| Positive | A number greater than zero |
| Factor | A whole number that divides exactly into another number |
| Multiple | A number from a given times-table |
| Prime | A number that can only be divided by itself and one |
| Consecutive | Numbers that follow each other in a sequence |
| Infinite | Unable to be counted or unlimited |
| Sequence | An ordered list of numbers or shapes that follow a pattern or rule |
| Term | One of the items in a sequence |
| Generate | Find the next term |
| Scatter graph | A diagram to show a relationship between two variables |
| Correlation | Describes the connection between two sets of data |
| Relationship | A link between two things |
| Primary data | Data you collect first hand |
| Secondary data | Data someone else has collected |
| Discrete data | Can only take certain values (counted data) |
| Continuous data | Can take any value (measured data) |
| Sample | Section from a group of data |
| Census | Collect data from the entire population |
| Data | Facts, numbers or measurements collected |
| Fraction | A part of a number or whole |
