What is the LCD of 3 and 12? 12
What is the LCD of 3 and 36? 36
1/2 + 4/5 = 1 3/10
Simplify 13/10 1 3/10
1-1/2 + 3-3/4 4 3/4
Step 1: Find the LCD
Step 2: Get new numerators
Step 3: Add numerators
Step 4: Bring down the denominator
Step 5: Add any whole numbers
Step 6: Simplify
