| Distended | Swollen due to pressure from inside; bloated. |
| Amorphous | Without a clearly defined shape or form. |
| Paradigm | A typical example or pattern of something; a model. |
| Obtrude | Become noticeable in an unwelcome or intrusive way. |
| Diffident | Modest or shy because of a lack of self-confidence. |
| Amnesty | An official pardon for people who have been convicted of political offenses. |
| Hedonist | A person who believes that the pursuit of pleasure is the most important thing in life; a pleasure-seeker. |
| Populism | A political doctrine that appeals to the interests and conceptions (such as fears) of the general people, especially contrasting those interests with the interests of the elite. |
