Ragnarok - Norse Myths

| Odin | Norse mythology: Also known as the All-Father, ruler of the Aesir, Brother of Villi and Ve, Fenrir kills him at Ragnarok. |
| prisoner | Someone who is captured and put in prison. |
| growled | To speak in a low, angry voice. An angry sound made by animals. |
| Thor | Norse mythology: God of thunder. His weapon is a mighty hammer, Mjölnir. He is other depicted riding a goat-drawn chariot. |
| hammer | A tool used to fix nails into wood. Thor's mighty weapon. |
| serpent | A snake. |
| spat | Past tense of 'spit'. |
| beaten | Something or someone who is defeated. |
| staggered | Swayed or walked unsteadily. |
