Integers, Fractions, and Decimal Rules

TermDefinition
Addition rules for Integers (adding with the same sign) add the number and keep the sign
Addition rules for Integers (adding with different signs) subtract the numbers and keep the sign of the larger nnumber
Additive Inverse Property the sum of an integer and its additive inverse, or opposite, is 0
Subtracting rules for Integers add its opposite: method: keep, change, change
Multiplication rules for Integers (multiplying with same sign) product is always positive
Multiplication rules for Integers (multiplying with different sign) product is always negative
Dividing rules for Integers same as multiplication
Fractions to Decimal divide the numerators by the denominater
Decimal to Fraction remove the decimal and write the number as a numerator,write the denominator based on its place value, simplify
